Winter 2013

Welcome to Our New Customers

Welcome to our new customers who were formerly served by the City of Fairfax and City of Falls Church water systems! We are pleased to have you join our family and look forward to providing you with exceptional service, quality, and reliability. In January we distributed welcome packets by mail to our new customers. If you are a former City of Falls Church or City of Fairfax customer and did not receive a welcome packet, you can request one by calling 703-289-6017, TTY 711, or sending a message to Public Relations. Please keep this packet as a reference to help you find the Fairfax Water resources you may need. This expansion of our service area is good news for all of our customers. Here are several reasons why: v Fairfax Water will gain capacity in a third treatment plant, known as the Washington Aqueduct. Having this additional resource will make the Fairfax Water system more robust and resilient. v Fairfax Water will acquire all of the transmission and distribution elements of the Cities of Fairfax and Falls Church systems, including water storage facilities. This will allow us to distribute water to all customers in a more efficient manner. For more information about your Fairfax Water bill and our rates, fees, and charges, visit our Web site at www.fairfaxwater.org/rates/index.htm or call 703-698-5800, TTY 711. You can learn more about your water quality at www.fairfaxwater.org/water/index.htm.
